This bracelet is highly detailed and designed in the shape of a snake with fourteen separate articulating panels that create a perfect wrap around the wrist. The bracelet has added detail that brings it to life, with little beads placed inside the snake head that creates a rattle sound very cool! This snake bracelet is highly collectible and made by Melesio Rodriquez (MR) a very fine silversmith, who for many years worked with and managed the workshop of Margot de Taxco (Margot van Voorhies Carr). When Margot closed her shop in 1955, she gave Rodriquez most of her original molds. This beautiful bracelet is likely made from one of the original Margot molds by the quality craftsmanship of Melesio himself. This snake bracelet is fully hallmarked Taxco Mexico 925 with Melesio Rodriquez’s artist registry number “TR-144″ and “MR” inside the circle. It is made of Sterling silver with a brown enamel for skin color and red enamel accent for eyes, tail and neck collar. The inside (around wrist) of the bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches and. 60 inches wide with a total weight of 43.60 grams. The bracelet is in mint and near perfect condition with no missing pieces or breaks found and with minor to no enamel loss. The fine quality and condition of this bracelet is a rare find!
