The sign retains remarkably strong, vibrant colors with the classic deep navy lettering contrasting beautifully against the bright orange background. As expected with a genuine, century-old street sign, it shows signs of age and weathering. There is moderate enamel loss, surface scratching, and corrosion/rusting, most notably a patch through the center word “VIROL”, along the bottom text, and around the outer edges/fixing holes. The metal retains its structural integrity and displays beautifully with an authentic, untouched patina.
