Vintage Original Early Double Sided Motte- Cordonnier French Beer Enamel Advertising Sign. Probably produced around the 1930s. As found in original used condition. A scarce sign and the oldest brewery in France founded in 1650. It is often said in the family that the five ingredients in the beer represent the five points of the emblem star. It also has the makers mark. Koekelberg Bruxelles’ Belgium. Great addition for any beer collectors. There is wear with enamel loss in areas, a few very small spots of what looks like restoration and a line that runs at the side of the star in blue and a minor dent to the bottom where the enamel has been lost.
