This sign is a really great find and i doubt you will ever find another. It does have its edges missing and lots of patina but it has been through 2 wars as its believed to date from pre 1910, the car featured in the sign is the benz patent motor car the worlds 1st motor car built by karl benz and it is believed this is him and his wife in the benz on the sign. In all my years of collecting i knew this design of sign did exist but id never seen one, its a really rare chance to own this piece of motoring history, the last image is how i knew it existed.
