An original vintage German vitreous enamel on metal street sign for Carl-Ulrich-Strasse (in Bad Wimpfen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany) : the sign of rectangular domed form with a slightly raised white border and lettering on a dark blue ground, fixing holes to each corner, circa 1940s / 50s. Carl Ulrich (1853 – 1933) was a German politician and the longest seving legislator in German history.
