
Vintage 1940s German Enamel Street Sign Carl Ulrich Strasse (Bad Wimpfen). An original vintage German vitreous enamel on metal street sign for Carl-Ulrich-Strasse (in Bad Wimpfen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany) : the sign of rectangular domed form with a slightly raised white border and lettering on a dark blue ground, fixing holes to each corner, circa 1940s / 50s. Carl Ulrich (1853 – 1933) was a German politician and the longest seving legislator in German history. Size : Approx 80cm long x 15cm at each end (the central section is domed and approx 14.5cm) Condition : Good vintage condition with expected marks / wear and losses to the enamel at the screw holes, and with wear and minor chips / losses to the enamel along the edges (see last 12 photos) – please see all 22 photos below (message me if you require additional photos / info, etc).
