Decorative salvaged American street sign which I believe relates to West Madison Street, Chigaco. From the style I believe the sign dates from the 1950s/60s but please do your own research. The sign is made from heavy metal which has been porcelain enamelled on both sides in a yellow background with black letting which reads. There is a lip to the top of the sign and one beneath bent in the opposite direction. The original fixing bracket is still in place but there has been some bending, presumably when the sign was removed. Weight: 2.06 kg. Sign Dimensions: 26 inches x 5.75 inches. Bracket Dimensions: 8.5 inches x 1.5 inches x. Summary: as can be seen from the photos this is an attractive vintage American street sign which would make a great decorative display in man cave, home bar etc.
