This is a delightful Vintage, Double Sided, French’Postes Recette Auxiliaire’ Enamel Advertising Sign. A lovely heavy, 1950’s French enamel sign depicting’Postes Recette Auxiliaire’ in slightly raised white lettering to both sides on a bright blue background, with holes in place mainly to one side at top and lower corners for mounting if preferred. Measuring 70cm x 35cm weighs 3.3kgs. Considering it’s age the sign is in overall good condition with no spilts or apparent colour loss, the lettering is easily readable to both sides. The sign does display some signs of oxidation mainly to one side adding to character and charm.
