Up for your consideration is a huge 282 piece lot of vintage and contemporary costume jewelry, all wearable, several with rhinestones. The lot includes 57 necklaces, 53 bracelets, 68 pairs of earrings (5 pairs of clip-on/screw-on and 63 pairs of pierced), 35 brooches/pins, 36 rings, 21 tie tacks, 1 stick pin, 1 tie bar, 1 eyeglass holder, 1 hair clips, 1 dress clip, 1 rosary necklace, 1 pair of shoe clips, 1 anklet, 1 key chain, 1 bolo tie, 1 belt, and 1 belt buckle. Several of the items are signed/marked. I see: Monet, Robert Rose, LC, Disney, AVON (3), AVON NR, AVON SP, 10 K GF, STER, Fossil, NY, Alex & Ani, Louis Feraud Paris, J. Music Box Santa Monica, Dachshund Club of America, Stainless Steel, 36 USC 200506 Aminco, 1/20 14K, Korea, and one more item is signed but I can’t make out the designer’s last name it reads Nicole by Freida –. The lot weighs more than seven and a half pounds and includes all the jewelry items pictured in the photos except for one black beaded necklace that was found to be defective after the photos were taken. It was removed from the lot and a similar black beaded necklace was added to the lot as a replacement. The lot may include items composed of materials, such as: rhinestones, glass, metal, wood, shell, plastic, gemstones, freshwater pearls, cloisonne, crystal, and/or faux pearls. Most of the items in the lot are in good/very good/or excellent condition. The items in this lot are vintage and/or pre-owned so some amount of surface wear, tarnish, and wear and tear consistent with used jewelry is to be expected with this lot. I have not tried to clean or polish the jewelry items in this lot a good cleaning might enhance the appearance of the items even more. All payments are due within 2 days of closed auctions.
