A stunning and original vintage enamel London street sign for Parkfield Street in Islington, N1. The sign measures 63cm by 30cm (approx 2ft by 1ft). It has lots of marks as you’d expect for its age, including some patches of rust (please see pictures) but generally the sign looks great and it is chance to own a genuine piece of London history – it would be stunning mounted on a wall at home, in a shop, restaurant, bar or office. Decorative salvaged American street sign which I believe relates to West Madison Street, Chigaco. From the style I believe the sign dates from the 1950s/60s but please do your own research. The sign is made from heavy metal which has been porcelain enamelled on both sides in a yellow background with black letting which reads. There is a lip to the top of the sign and one beneath bent in the opposite direction. The original fixing bracket is still in place but there has been some bending, presumably when the sign was removed. Weight: 2.06 kg. Sign Dimensions: 26 inches x 5.75 inches. Bracket Dimensions: 8.5 inches x 1.5 inches x. Summary: as can be seen from the photos this is an attractive vintage American street sign which would make a great decorative display in man cave, home bar etc.

What a fantastic name for a road. Antique original blue enamel street sign from the early 1900s. This road is on the outskirts of Maidstone in Kent. In very good condition with no holes, just a few rust marks here and there and slight. I don’t know what the writing on the back is? Measures 47cm long x 11cm wide. A nice addition to any sign collection.

Is your name Scot? Or are you a Scot? I can’t deny it. It’s beaten up. But it looks like if you were beaten up in a Hollywood movie to look glamorous. Did Ronnie Lane have any relatives called Scot? If he did can you tell him please? It’s got a real feel to it. It looks better in person tbh. I don’t really know what era it is. But that blue and white enamel is usually Edwardian. Corr, imagine opening this on Christmas Day!!!!
