Features bold “Stephens Inks” script branding at top and bottom, temperature scale from 0-140, and classic slogans such as “Blood Heat, ” “Summer Heat, ” and Freezing. Authentic old advertising display with charming patina, missing its original glass tube and back wooden mount. Type: Porcelain enamel thermometer advertising sign. Size: 60 x 12 inches approx. Single-sided enamel on metal. Graphics: Large black script “Stephens Inks, ” numeric temperature scale, and descriptive heat labels. Era: Mid 20th century vintage advertising. Condition: Glass tube missing, back wooden board missing, surface rust spots and enamel wear present (see photos). Vintage original enamel large Stephens Ink Advertising Sign. A most handsome antique enamel sign. Look at the pictures it has part or end of another Stephen’s Ink sign attached to it by old rusty bolts. This particular sign has done its job in droves a little rust battered and bruised but look closely it’s all there and displays beautifully. We love this sign it just looks fab wherever we place it. Great antique colours and graphics and that great splash of coloured ink is just to die for. Great size too measuring: 4 x 1 feet. Here for sale is a lovely extremely rare heavy old enamel sign dating back from the early 1900s , this measures 26 inches x 9 & a half inches. This reads STEPHENS BLUE BLACK WRITING FLUID. This comes with minor enamel loss and minor marks, etc… With a very small slight bend to the top right hand corner, please use the pictures as part of the description! There are lots of variations of the Stephens inks enamel signs , this is one of the much earlier ones before they introduced the splash of blue and black lettering and ink. You only have to feel the weight and look at the detailed writing on the ink bottle on the sign to realise this is a true genuine Antique that will only continue to climb in value. This would look stunning on any wall in the home, office, man cave, bar , restaurant, or retail shop.
