This “Post Office” sign is in “as found” condition. This sign would have originally, been attached to an outside wall of a local office. It advertises various services available at the post office. The sign is white with black raised enamelled lettering and border, it has the usual enamel losses and nibbles to the edges and mounting holes, as well as scuffs, stains and marks in places. It also appears to have additional mounting holes drilled in the black border. The lettering and white background have retained a fair depth of colour and gloss. The bottom of the sign has the makers details. We have tried to show the condition in the photographs. It measures 66 cm (26 inches) by 30.5 cm (12 inches). Please note this is on the.
