Please be sure to enlarge the photos to get a close-up view of this fabulous vintage brooch! The body of the peacock is enameled in turquoise and yellow with the gold metal showing through in spots for detail. There is a large rose in metal that is 3-d and then that lovely delicate tail, all enameled in the turquoise and green with gold tone metal filigree work. The peacock is crowned with gold tone metal “rays” with olive green rhinestones adorning the end of each “ray”. I have never seen a piece like this! The brooch is 4 from the top to the bottom and is in great vintage condition. It is signed on the back with the cartouche that says, “Miriam Haskell”. The photo of the signature did not come out very well, but it is there and original to the piece. Be sure to notify us when purchasing items if you wish to take advantage of this May special.
