Welcome to House of Heritage. Description: Decorative and desirable double sided Flinn & Sons dry cleaners of Brighton advertising enamel sign, dating from around 1930s. A very nice sign that could possibly be a one off, a real collectors items, that displays lovely. Dimensions : The sign is 46 cm in height by 30.5 cm in width. Condition: In good condition considering age but some heavy fading especially to one side and a rust ring mark, some marks and surfaces scratches to the sign, some enamel loss, please see pictures.

This enamel sign for the “News Of The World” “Best Weekly Paper” is in “as found” condition. The sign has the usual enamel and metal losses to the edges, there are some patches of enamel loss to the body of the sign too, as well as the marks, scuffs, stains and scratches that you would expect from an item of this age and use. However, the yellow background and black lettering still have a good depth of colour and a fair gloss. We have tried to show the condition in the photographs.
