Rare Vintage Old Original Mitsubishi Electric Double Sided Light Sign Not Enamel. Very good condition all over accept the following. 1 one really small crack on one of the corners as pictured, but solid and nothing to worry about. 2 one hairline scratch on each face/side as pictured. Generally not too bad and not too noticeable either. Thick hard plastic body. Metal inner rail with its genuine internal parts bulb tube, transformer, starter etc. Tested, full working order. Can be used as a free lay or hanged using its anchor points at the top (chains or strings not provided). Really cool light once lit and a real treat for the Mitsubishi enthusiast. I’m a vintage enthusiast who spends a fair bit of time in Japan. One of the things I collect is vintage porcelain & emamel advertising signs usually from the 1930’s & 40’s. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more pictures, or for more information, I’ll be happy to help. I currently have around 30 or so very collectable advertising signs from Japanese companies, which are both very collectible and difficult to find these days. All of my signs are genuine vintage items, I have no interest in reproduction signs and do not own any. Please be sure to check my other vintage signs out. This sign is from the Japanese Imperial period from the Mitsubishi company. I like Mitsubishi signs and have a few others in my collection. They are so much more than just a car company, with have banking interests, food, housing etc. I have not seen another one of these signs available in Japan, or on the world market, most of my signs are straight edged, so to find one with these curves is very unique! This sign is double sided, with the same design on both sides. Both sides are in fantastic condition considering the age of the sign. This extremely rare piece would be perfect for Japanese automotive collectors or enthusiasts, Mitsubishi fans or something to display in the garage or mancave. My dream is to have all of my signs on display along with my other collections in a small bar / cafe here in Japan, but for now I need to thin the collection a little bit. This sign measures 60cm from top to bottom, and is 45cm wide (at the widest point). Thanks for your time.
