Vintage Original Vintage Bronze & Enamel Welsh Plaque Signs – Midland Bank. Top grade metal – removed from the branch in the Lovely Small Mining village of Glanamman. Both completely un-touched with remains of there high grade wood back boards. & both in signs very good condition with excellent enamel lettering… Great color on the midland bank sign. The Midland sign is older C1970’s. The DAYS & HOURS sign would have been changed a few times i would have thought. As the opening days/hours would have changed. Through its time opened. This one still has age. Both quite heavy too.. With lovely charm &. Both signs have rubs /marks /wear/ some scratches. Four holes at corners to the midland sign, used to attach it to the bank wall. (as seen in photos). A fabulous vintage item, Getting harder to find these now. These will became a item of the past. Great collectors piece, man cave, or Ideal Wall display item. Vintage item therefore signs of ware. This male & female. Includes back board midland sign – 45cm (18) wide. Hours sign – 45cm (18ins) wide 15cm (6ins) high. 3cm (1.5ins) Thick. BR direction sign for Hendon Station (f/f). In excellent condition still, the sign retains a superb shine. There is some of the usual edge chipping and surface marks as to be expected with age, but no restoration at all. No polish or WD40 etc has been added to enhance it either, the condition is just this good as it is. Please see all of the photos. The size of the sign is: 28″ x 13″. Description: Fantastic very large Midland double sided’No Smoking’ enamel sign. Unusually large sign that must be a rare surviror, they have loops so ready to be hung in any persons collection. Measurements: 245cm wide, 60cm high and 5cm depth. Condition:Okay condition overall, some losses and dents to enamel but good gloss overall, missing the right loop but could replace with middle loop.
