Vintage Watson’s Matchless Cleanser- is the best soap for all purposes enamel backed grocer’s chair. Nice decorative chair in very good overall condition, some knocks to enamel as shown, chair has general wear with great patina and is very sturdy in original unrestored condition. Please see pictures for full description. Chair looks totally original and correct size/ height. Dimensions are 37.5cm at widest point across back of chair, x 86cm H x 45cm D. Vintage enamel advertising sign for Watson’s Matchless Cleanser. Manufactured in Wolverhampton, Birmingham, England. Circa 1910 – 30. The worst damage is shown in the images. The rust is minimal but unfortunately there are holes punched along the bottom resulting in some enamel loss to the lower right. Other slight marks and scratches exist.
