A large watchmaker’s trade sign in the form of a giant pocket watch. A wonderful piece of advertising which would have hung outside a watchmaker’s or jeweller’s. Double sided & made from a single piece of hand painted sheet metal & topped with a riveted iron bracket. The paintwork has developed a good patina & fantastic craquelure texture & both sides are finished with the watchmaker’s name across the centre. A beautiful & very decorative example. French, early to mid 20th century H 80 x W 51 cm Wear commensurate with age, untouched original condition.
