Vintage’Mew’s’ W. Mew Langton, Isle Of Wight Brewery single sided enamel advertising sign. An excellent example of a sought after sign, mounted for many years in its own custom made frame, only removed to photograph it. Most of the fixing holes are in good condition so could be an unusued sign or one that was mounted in a metal frame as a hanging pub sign. A fabulous and most probably unique antique enamel advertising sign from the very early 1900s. Smith & Son, London. The sign is a great size – 30 x 50 inches. There is some loss to the enamel, as shown in the photos, however this is restricted to the edges and all of the lettering remains readable. This is a brilliant display piece. The colours are vibrant and really pop, which will only improve with a polish or two. The perfect Christmas present for any Vectis Insula enthusiast.
