Large Original Vintage CADBURY’S CHOCOLATES Enamel Advertising Sign c. Offered or sale I have an original salvaged Enamel Advertising Sign – Cadbury’s Chocolates. Dating to the earlier part of the 20th century, circa 1930s, this is an authentic example of this rare and collectable sign. This sign has retained some good original branding and paint work to leave a nice patina. This is how I like my signs a little rusty, a little beaten up and with buckets of character This one no doubt has a great story. This would look ace in a retail environment as wall decor, or equally a cool conversation piece for your home. The sign is slightly curved when stood up, like most enamel signs tend too of this age, but would sit flat when attached to a wall or board. There are some surface scratches and scars, some rusty areas, some chipping to the enamel, a couple of tears and it is a little tatty in places. Again, I simply feel this adds to the look and its authenticity. Please study all the photos, as it would be difficult to highlight all the imperfections. Dimensions: Width: 72″ (183cm) Height: 24″ (61cm) approx. Condition: Some surface scars and scratches, some enamel chipping, a little tatty in places, a little dirty in places, a few tears. Packaging: The sign will be surrounded in thick polystyrene sheets to ensure it reaches you in the same condition it left me.
