This sign is approximately 6ft by 3ft (1.8m by 0.9m). We are not sure of the exact age but the last picture is of a newspaper advert printed in the Evening Express in July 1904 has similar imagery and text. The condition should be gauged from the pictures but it had spent a long time outside, the sign has now been cleaned and waxed. Please ask if you have any questions.
