A superb vintage large 1980s rectangular enamel sign in very good condition. Lovely subject matter of Walls Ice cream. The enameeling is on both sides of this sign and there is a printed number at the bottom right SB97. Measurements are 70cm x 49cm of the enamel sign. 1980’s Vintage Enamel’Castrol sign’ from Eastern Europe. I bought this about 10 years ago at Newark Antiques market from a dealer who does his antique shopping in Romania, Poland and Hungary amongst others. Great condition and gloss. Circa 4.2 kg. 60 cm wide x 40 cm high x 3 cm deep. This vintage Castrol enamel sign hails from the 1980s and features the iconic branding of the popular petrol/oil company. The sign is an original piece and is perfect for collectors of advertising memorabilia. The sign is designed with transportation advertising in mind and is a great addition to any collection of petrol/oil advertising. The sign is made from high-quality materials and has been well-maintained over the years. It is a fantastic piece of history and a great conversation starter.
