VERY SCARCE OLD ORIGINAL SUNLIGHT LAUNDRY SOAP PORCELAIN ENAMEL SIGN. Circa late 1800s to turn of the last century, this sign is extremely rare and I have never seen another original of its kind. Measures 36” x 12” and is in all original untouched condition as shown. Original makers mark is at the bottom right corner. This sign is the real deal and not a reproduction from india made to look old. In fact I never seen another until I listed this one and it was copied and reproduced from india. So this is the rare one of a kind original that the repros from india are made from. Always check the size and the back of the sign to determine age vs reproduction. Also check mounting hole placement and beware new red rust grommets. Check for uniform unrealistic fake chipping. Virtually all porcelain signs from india are reproductions.
